Cynthia (Cindy) Mace Wingfield, 54, of Hixburg Road, Prospect, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of Mark G. Wingfield.
Born in Lynchburg, VA, on April 28, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Shirley Savage and Neal K. Mace. She was a member of Spear's Mountain Baptist Church and was an office manager for Shore's Collision, Inc. of Powhatan, VA.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters; Laura R. Shumaker and husband, Chuck W.; Jennifer Allen and husband, Charlie; Stacy Shumaker and fiancé, Christopher all of Dillwyn; a brother, Timothy K. Mace and wife, Sherry of Lynchburg; two step-children, Ashley Morgan and husband Travis of Campbell and Tyler G. Wingfield of Appomattox; four grandsons, Jody Shumaker, Devin Allen, Hunter Shumaker, and Jackson Allen; an expected granddaughter, Reagan; a step-granddaughter, Rowan Morgan; life-long friends, John and Debbie Leonard of Buckingham; and her canine companions, Fat Boy and Tripp.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Elgin.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am., Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Spear's Mountain Baptist Church by the Rev. Buddy Bryant. Burial will follow in Buckingham Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 7-8:30 p.m.
