Chuckie Lee Webber, 57, of Rocks Church Rd., Pamplin, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Nora Pugh Webber.
Born in Lynchburg, September 15, 1952, he was a son of the late Leslie Lovelace and Virginia Elizabeth Ferguson Webber. Chuck was a member of Rocks Baptist Church and retired from Weavexx in Farmville.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two nephews, who he and Nora reared as their sons; William H. Hogan of Pamplin and his fiancée, Danielle Southall and her daughter, Julianna and Charles E. Hogan and wife, Dana and their children, Jacob and Jayden of Altavista; a brother, Kenneth Wayne Webber of Altavista and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Jean Daubenspeck and a brother, Clyde Lovelace Webber.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, October 30, 2009, at Rocks Baptist Church by the Rev. Ron Moore with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday from 7-8:30 pm and other times at the residence.
