Christopher Lee "Tater" Lloyd, Sr., 67, of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Alleghany Health and Rehab. He was the husband of Frances Chernault Lloyd.

Born in Lynchburg, on April 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Preston Lloyd and Kitty Hamilton Lloyd.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Christopher Lee Lloyd, Jr.; a daughter, Jennifer L. Pitts and husband, Jacob; a stepson, Kenny Duncan; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Timothy L. Scruggs, IV, and Isabel Leona Scruggs; a brother, Steve Lloyd and wife, Kathy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy "Timbo" Scruggs.
