Obituary

Christine Lukin Dickerson, 65, of Appomattox, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in the Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Farmville, March 6, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Flora Goin Dickerson. Christine was an active member of Rocks Baptist Church where she was a former pianist and organist. In 1986, she retired from B & W. She was a member of the Appomattox Order of the Eastern Star #10 and the first pianist for the Rocks Quartet.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Samuel E. and Cindy Dickerson of Appomattox; two nieces, Donna Dickerson of Marianna, FL and Ashley Dickerson of Appomattox; a nephew, Ricky Dickerson and his wife, Andrea of Abilene, KS and two great nephews, Casey and Tyler Dickerson.
Funeral services will be held, 11:00 am, Friday, July 25, 2008, at Rocks Baptist Church by the Rev. Ron Moore with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday from 7-8:30 pm.
