Cheryl Lynn Skipper, 68, of Appomattox, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Bethesda, MD, on October 5, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Verdon Richard Skipper and Joyce Esther Hoffacker Skipper.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Lydon and Erica Perez of Buckeye, AZ, and James Jefferey Lewis of Appomattox; one sister, Deborah "Debbie" Ann Skipper of Bordertown, NJ; and two grandchildren, Ava Dawn Lydon, and Ryker Von Lydon.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Norman Ramsey officiating.
