Charlotte Anne Ahles

Charlotte Anne Collver Ahles, 85, of Appomattox, died Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late George Jacob Ahles, Jr.

Born in Utica, New York on July 24, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Beyer and Donald J. Collver, Sr. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and retired from BWXT.

She is survived by three children, Lynda Ahles, Mark Ahles and wife, Kim, Patricia Anne Slaughter and husband, Gregg; four siblings, Louise Kinne and husband, Gerald, Donald J. Collver and wife, Deborah, Barbara Collver, and Gerald Collver and wife, Kathy; two grand pups, Houdini and Rosie; a grand cat, Sundae; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, George J. Ahles, III; granddaughter, Jessica Hope Ahles, brother, Charles Collver, Sr. and sister, Laurie LaMandia.

A Catholic Christian funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Father Sal Anonuevo with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lynchburg.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 pm, on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare staff and employees at Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg for the exceptional care, support, and friendship that they provided to Charlotte and her family.
