Charles Dewey Mullins, 84, of Appomattox, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of Barbara Chambers Mullins.

Born on April 16, 1939, in London, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Dewey A. Mullins and Beatrice Deem Mullins.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tammy Davis and husband, Tim of Appomattox, and Vicki Callaway of Advance, NC, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sue M. Hall of PA.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Carl, and Roger Mullins, and four sisters, Phyllis McGuire, JoAnne White, Shelda Coffey, and Shirley Mullins.

A private memorial service will be held Saturday. The family will receive friends at the residence.
