Charles Douglas Litchford, Jr., 54, of Park View Lane, Appomattox, died Tuesday morning. He was the husband of the late Brenda Jamerson Litchford.

Born in Lynchburg, on May 14, 1955, he was a son of the late Charles Douglas Litchford, Sr. and Geraldine Ferguson Litchford. Charles was a former employee of Thomasville Furniture and a member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church.

He is survived by two brothers, Lynn D. Litchford of Appomattox and Allen C. Litchford and his wife Shelby of Concord; two sisters, Bonnie Taylor and her husband Robert of Lawton, OK and Cindy Busch and her husband Randy of Warren, OH; two nieces, Jenny Litchford and Mallory Busch; and one nephew, Greg Litchford.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am, on Friday, March 19, 2010, in Liberty Cemetery by the Rev. Ken Jenkins.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 am.
