CHARLES LLOYD LAMBERT, SR.
Charles Lloyd Lambert, Sr., 73, of Holiday Lake Road, Appomattox, died at his residence Friday morning April 6, 2012 after a long illness. He was the husband of Rachel Ingles Lambert.
Charles was born in Johnstown, PA on August 19, 1938 a son of the late Flora Coleman and Lloyd Alveria Lambert. He was a member of Crewe Church of the Nazarene and was a retired minister having served Churches of the Nazarene in Greenwood, DE; Exmore, VA; Berkley Springs and Martinsburg, WV; Loudoun Valley, Prospect and Buckingham, VA; and Brooms Island, MD.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Charles L. Lambert, II of Appomattox; Darryl Wayne Lambert of Marlow, WV; Darlene Ruth Lambert of Appomattox; Aaron Alva Lambert and wife Amy, of Madison Heights; two sisters, Janet Yoder and husband, Donald of Coopersburg, PA and Carol Boring,of Apollo, PA; two brothers, Ray Lambert of Arizona and Wesley Lambert and wife, Julia of West Salem, OH; five grandchildren, Daniel Lambert, Tyler Lambert, Chyenne Lambert, Brody Tobias and Dorothy Lambert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday April 9, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Dr. Chris King. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7:00 P.M. on Sunday.
