Appomattox: Charles Albert Coffey, Sr., 62, died Friday afternoon, September 21, 2007 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in West Virginia on August 27, 1945, and was a son of the late James Granville and Mary Ann Cash Coffey.
He is survived by four children; Charles Coffey and his wife, Amy, of Appomattox, Cathy Sue Coffey of North Carolina, Thomas D. Coffey and his wife, Shannon, of Centerville, and Matthew Coffey of Florida; two brothers, Edward Coffey of Appomattox and Thomas Coffey of Luray; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 26, 2007 in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence of Charles and Amy Coffey.
