Obituary
Cecil Gary Carter, 59, of Lonesome Pine Lane, died Friday, July 30, 2010 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Lynchburg, January 11, 1951, he was a son of the late Mobie Junior "Dick" Carter and Dorothy Ferguson Carter. Cecil was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Carolyn C. Irvin of Appomattox; nieces and nephew, Dana Carter, Paul Irvin and wife, Heather all of Appomattox, Lisa Irvin of Spout Spring, and Linda Catron of Vinton; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother L. Keith Carter.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Monday, August 2, 2010 in Evergreen Cemetery, by Dr. Chris King.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Monday, August 2, 2010 from 12:30-1:30pm.
