Cathy Dawn Sherman, 67, of Appomattox, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Born in Harrisonburg, VA, on September 3, 1957, she was a daughter of Manevolin Meadows Hammers and the late Eddie Lee Hammers, Sr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Brooke Ann Sherman, Brandon Lee Sherman and Nicole May Manley and husband, Brandon; two sisters, Tarie Lynn Dean and husband, Mitchell and Tanya Jean Toten; one brother, Eddie Lee Hammers, II, and wife, Tina; nine grandchildren, Reese, Nicholas, Alice, Blake, LeeAnne, Brianna, Nathan, August and Theodora.

The family will have a visitation and time of remembrance from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home.
