Obituary

Appomattox: Catherine Lucado Perdue, 90, of Rt. 6, died Saturday, July 9, 2005, in the Appomattox Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late George William Perdue.
Born in Appomattox County, August 13, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maude Morris Lucado.
Catherine was a homemaker and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four children William R. (Billy) Perdue and his wife Barbara of Lynchburg, Charles L. Perdue and his wife Jane of Appomattox, Lucy P. Harvey and her husband Ben of Appomattox, and Ronald W. Perdue and his wife Donna of Madison Heights; a brother Edwin Lucado of Lynchburg; six grandchildren Sue Wilson, William D. Perdue, Benny Harvey, Wayne Perdue, Daryl W. Perdue, and Susan Thornton; six great-grandchildren Terry W. Lawhorne, Kimberly Lawhorne, Michael Perdue, Jacqueline Perdue, Seth Perdue, and Claire Thornton.
Mrs. Perdue was preceded in death by three brothers Raymond Lucado, Herbert Lucado, and Robert Lucado; two sisters Lottie Marks and Lucille Hale
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2005 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce Johnson with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends today (Sunday, July 10, 2005) at the funeral home from 3:00 – 5:00 PM and other times at her residence.
