Carolyn Reynolds "Chubby" Mayberry, 63, of Hummingbird Lane, passed away, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of John Wayne Mayberry.

Born in Lynchburg, April 3, 1953 she was a daughter of the late Mae Constance Farmer and Dillard Rosser Reynolds, Sr. Chubby was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was a Patient Care Coordinator.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Carroll Wayne Mayberry and wife, Kristie of Concord, Jonathan Mayberry and wife, Lisa of Rustburg, and Brian Keith Mayberry and wife, Michelle of Altavista; one brother, Dillard R. Reynolds, Jr. and wife, Robyn of Quittman, TX; three sisters, Nancy H. Perry of Lynchburg, Bobbie Jeann Mullins and husband, Raymond of Appomattox, and Linda Mae Hollandsworth of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Raymond and Bobbie Jeann Mullins, 3181 Promise Land Road.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Robinson Funeral Home for help with final expenses.
