Obituary

Calvin Jackson Paulette, 56, of Rixeyville, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Lynchburg on April 4, 1952, he was the son of Louise Garrette Paulette Franklin and the late Thomas Wilson Paulette. He attended Rough Creek Presbyterian Church where he was a former deacon and choir director for many years. Calvin was a 1998 Graduate of George Mason University with a B.S. in Finance. He was awarded the Tiffany Award by the American Red Cross.
He is survived by three sisters, Linda Louise Paulette of Appomattox, Charlotte (Charky) Paulette of Charlotte C.H., Dorothy P. (Dottie Beck) Bub and husband, Charles of Appomattox; and was preceded in death by a sister, Janice P. Seay. In addition to his mother and sisters, he is survived by three nieces and nephews, Marsha Ballowe and husband, T.W. ; Greg May both of Appomattox, Ashleigh Seay of Knoxville, TN; three great-nieces and nephews, Brittney May, Corey May, and Thomas Wayde Ballowe; his step-father, W.A. (Dick) Franklin; step-brother, Alvin Franklin and wife, Linda of Mechanicsville; and step-sister, Kathy Pender and husband, David of Virginia Beach.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John Kidd and the Rev. Roberta Kidd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday November 25, 2008 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Dick and Louise Franklin, Anderson Mill Rd.
