Obituary

Gladstone: Calvin Walker Harris, 77, of Rt. 2, died Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Appomattox Health Care Center.
Born May 28, 1928, in Buckingham County, he was a son of the late Nannie Evelyn Walton and Willis Ewart Harris. He was a Tobacco farmer, and a member of Mount Comfort United Methodist Church.
Calvin is survived by two brothers Willis Lyle Harris of Appomattox, and Marshall Walton Harris and his wife Rachel Goin Harris of Manakin-Sabot; two nephews Marshall Talmadge Harris, and his wife Susie, of Glen Allen, and Peyton Alan Harris, and his wife Clover, of Kazakhstan; three great-nieces Rachel, Emily, and Grace, and a great-nephew Colin.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home, by the Rev. David B. Camden, with burial to follow in Mount Comfort United Methodist Church Cemetery.
