Brenda Williams Watkins, 67, of Log Cabin Rd., Appomattox went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was born in Lynchburg, VA on March 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Lois Wilkinson and Willie Clarence Williams.

She was a member of Rustburg Baptist Church and attended Thomas Terrace Baptist Church. Brenda was the manager of the book store for the Appomattox Court House Historical Park.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda W. Smith and husband, Harry of Rustburg and Lisa W. Page and husband, Ricky of Appomattox; two brothers, Brady Glenn Williams of California and Gary Thomas Williams and wife, Sue of Forest; three grandchildren, Allyson Dugger and husband, Travis, Andrew Smith, and Carrie Franklin; a great-granddaughter, Kylee Souza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Muriel Byrum.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Thomas Terrace Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Grooms. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Williams Family Cemetery, Paul's Rd., Rustburg.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 -8:30 p.m., Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home.
