Brenda Carter McConville, 73, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Born in Appomattox County, May 18, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Guill Carter and Charlie Carter.

She is survived by two children, Kevin Sheffield and wife, Loree and Sara McConville; and two grandchildren, Kage Sheffield and Kayla Crance.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Skyler McConville; five brothers, Charles D. Carter, Robert W. "Boots" Carter, Karl E. "Toots" Carter, Freddy C. Carter and Kenny Wayne Carter; and three sisters, Phyllis C. Burkey, Barbara C. Almond and Pamela C. Moore.

A celebration of life service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Small officiating.
