Brenda Sue Kershner Collins, 62, of Bethany Rd., Rustburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of Charles Earl Collins, Sr.

Born in Farmville, VA on October 15, 1950, she was a daughter of late Charlie Carrico and the late Beatrice Frances Kershner. She was a member of Rocks Baptist Church and a retired nurse technician.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Charles Collins, Jr. of Rustburg; four daughters, Tina K. Catron and husband, Kyle of Altavista, Catherine Collins, Ramona Collins Isaacs and husband, Bobby all of Rustburg, and Tina Litchford and friend, Chris Berry of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Kyle Catron Jr., Justin Catron, Cody Isaacs, Aidan Mason, and Alayna Mae Collins; four great grandchildren; a brother, Michael Kershner and wife, Gloria Kay of Skippers; best friend, Lucy Mae and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Darl Kershner.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ramona Isaacs, 229 Brentwood Lane, Rustburg, on Sunday from 3:00 -6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers Brenda requested that memorials be made to Rocks Baptist Church, 393 Rocks Baptists Church, Pamplin, VA 23958.
