Bonnie Grace Boone Wooten of Appomattox, Passed into eternal rest at the age of 79 on June 28, 2019. She was the loving wife of the
late Jimmy T. Wooten
Born in California, February 25, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Louise Bailey and Daniel V. Boone.
She is survived by her friend, companion and sister, Linda Fee of Redhouse, and Brother John Boone of Missouri, her devoted daughter Lisa C. O'Brien and husband, Roger; four loving and cherished granddaughters and their husbands, Tiffany and Matt Wilkerson, Christina and Thomas Ulip II, Hannah and Josh Peters, Whitney and Travis Ferguson. Bonnie was lovingly known as Maz to her grandchildren and six great-grandchildren of whom she was very proud; Chris, Abby, and Jessi Wilkerson, Thomas (Tommy) Ulip, III, Addison and Elijah Peters and a special friend and blessing to Maz, Sheika McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark James Wooten.
Bonnie's infectious laugh and vibrant personality will be fondly remembered by all who met or worked with her. She worked at Thomasville and Jeanne's Restaurant for many years.
Bonnie and Jimmy greatly enjoyed their second home at Bugg's Island Lake. Her boat and CB handle were known as Sundancer. She was a talented crafter with a giving nature; she invited all to help someone in need. Support any local small business or crafter near you or your favorite Charity. Bonnie gave us all, a lifetime of wonderful memories we will treasure.
At her request, a private ceremony will be honored by her family
