Blenda Darnelle Mayberry, 71, of Rose Lane, Appomattox, died Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Thomas Leroy Mayberry.

Born in Lynchburg, November 6, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Canilia Staton and Ernest Nelson Woody.  Blenda handled the marketing for Mayberry Auto Shop.

She is survived by one son Thomas Nelson Mayberry; and one grandson, Tristan Mayberry both of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Ernest "Poochie" Jr. and Wanda.
