Mrs. Beulah Marie Cheatham Booth, 83 of Narrow Passage Road, Spout Spring, died Friday afternoon in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Roy Atwell Booth

Mrs. Booth was born in Appomattox County, August 16, 1927 a daughter of the late Norman Lipscomb and Mary Torrence Cheatham. She was a very active member of Reedy Spring Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 35 years and a former President of the Home Extension Club.

She is survived by her children, Janet Foster and her husband, Randy; Norman Booth and his wife, Linda; Allan Booth and his wife, Wanda; 7 Grandchildren, Terry Booth and his wife, Audrey; Andy Booth and his wife, Sonya; Chris Booth, Kelly Mann and her husband, Billy; Timmy Booth and his wife, Dorothy; Jeremy Trent ; Randy Trent and his wife, Cassie; 7 great-grandchildren, Makalee and Kenley, Kade and Madi, Paisley and Levi, and Maddi Grace; a niece, Catherine Berry and her children, Ryan and Carter.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Eula C. Nash and her nephew, Richard H. Nash.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2010 in Reedy Spring Baptist Church by the Rev. John Muth. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 9:00 P.M. today at the church and other times at the home of Janet and Randy Foster, Narrow Passage Road.
