Obituary
Betty Taylor Seay, 70, of Samson Way, Madison Heights, formerly a 48 year resident of Buckingham County, passed Friday, March 7, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Appomattox, Va. on October 3, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Carrie Baldwin and James Ryland Taylor. Betty retired from the Buckingham Department of Corrections.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia "Jen" Louise Seay and Rachel Dawn Seay and her friend, Dan R. Revely, Jr. all of Madison Heights; a loving Mema to her two grandchildren, Taylor Mekenzie Jones and Aaron Watson Seay; three sisters, Louise Thompson, Helen Ragland both of Appomattox, and Ellen Ragland of Danville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Ryland Taylor and George Edward Taylor.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Frank Casper. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service and other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
