Betty Lawson Goodwin, 84, of Appomattox, died, Friday, April 6, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Frazier Goodwin, Sr.

Born in Bluestone, June 16, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Dalton and Wiley B. Lawson.

She is survived by three sons, Allan Hall of Gardner, MA, Frazier Goodwin, Jr of Richmond, and Gary Goodwin of Appomattox; one daughter, Pamela Crain of Richmond; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Goodwin of Appomattox; one sister, Lois Tackett of Bedford; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm., Monday, April 9, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Beverly officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home.
