Obituary

Betty Johnson Elliott, 79, of Fleshman Street, Appomattox, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  She was the loving wife of Charles Elliott for 60 years.

Born in Pamplin, June 29, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Irma Price and Emmitt Howard Johnson.  Betty was a member of Rocks Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Teresa Elliott Dunn and husband, Nick of Keysville, and Linwood Elliott and wife, Debbie of Appomattox; one brother, Lawrence Johnson and wife, Eleanor of Pamplin; three grandchildren, Braxton Elliott and fiancé Megan Crotty, William Elliott and wife, Kim and Drew Elliott all of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Elsie Burrell.

A funeral service will be held 2p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Rocks Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her son, Linwood.
