BETTY PATTESON CLARK
Betty Patteson Clark, 86, of Lynchburg, died on Friday night February 17, 2012 at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Melvin Leroy Clark, Sr.
Betty was born in Appomattox County on September 4, 1925 a daughter of the late Edna Beale and William Diuguid Patteson, Sr. She was a retired nurse's aide at Avante and of the Baptist Faith.
Betty is survived by her son and his wife, Melvin L. Clark, Jr. and Susan of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Melvin (Lee) Clark, III and his wife, Jessica; Steffanie Hawks and her husband, Donald; Jonathan (Buck) Clark; six great-grandchildren; her brother, W. Diuguid Patteson, Jr. and his wife, Joyce of Smith Mountain Lake; her sister, Lucy P. Cyrus of Charlottesville.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara P. Reynolds and four brothers, Robert, Charles, Tommy and Ed Patteson.
A private family burial service will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 2-4:00 P.M. today (Sunday) February 19, 2012.
