Bernard William (Bernie) Rowehl, Jr., 81, of Log Cabin Road, Appomattox died Thursday February 26, 2015 at his residence.
Bernie was born in Hicksville, NY November 2, 1933 a son of the late Christina Moelius and Bernhard W. Rowehl, Sr. He was a retired farmer and an U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his sister, Diane M. Miller and husband, Carl of Appomattox, a niece, Donna and a nephew, Chris, his wife Beth and their children, Dennis and Stephanie.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11am Monday March 2, 2015 in Springhill Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Russell Cheatham.
