Barbara Meadows Lewis, 81, of Warminster, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 25, 2015. Born in Pamplin, Va., she was the daughter of the late Virginia Williams and Joseph L. Meadows and the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Robert J. Lewis, Sr.

She was the loving mother to Robert J. (Andrea) Lewis Jr. of Naples, Fla., William "Ben" (Christine) Lewis of Horsham, Pa., Kim (John) Burke of Warminster, Pa., and James E. (Dottie) Lewis of Lansdale. She is also survived by a sister, Linda "Susie" (Alan) King of Pamplin; grandchildren, Rebecca (Matt) Dadey, Jamie L. Lewis, Amy Smith, Candice (Adam) Naroznowski, Kevin W. (Tina) Lewis, Robert J. Lewis III, Kristin Lewis, Brittany Byers, and Ashley Byers; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Mary Ann and April Lewis, Bruce, Caleigh and Lillian Dadey; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Meadows and a sister, Naomi M. Edwards.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, in Piney Ridge United Methodist Church by the Rev. Herndon Jeffreys with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
