Barbara Kelsie Kirks, 84, of Stone Gate Lane, Concord, died Monday, March 19, 2018 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Kenneth Rogers Kirks.

Born in Danville, February 21, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Edith Parson and Curtis Howard Elliott. Barbara attended Grace Baptist Church, Bowie, MD.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Susan Bobby and husband, Jonathan of Concord; one brother, Alvin Elliott of Danville; two sisters, Rebecca Jean Boulware and Patricia Dale Curry both of Danville; two grandchildren, Raquel Victoria Bobby and Leah Elizabeth Bobby.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Elliott and one sister, Joyce Elliott Nanney.

A graveside service will be held 2pm., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Highland Burial Park, Danville, with Dr. Tom Bryant officiating.
