Barbara Lee Floyd Franklin, 71, of Isbell St., died Friday morning, October 12, 2012, in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Benjamin Franklin.

Born December 12, 1940 in Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Robert Louis and Edna Frances Espenschiet Clark. Barbara was a member of Bethel Bible Church and a former chef with Granny Bee's Restaurant.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Susan and Donny Franklin, Toddville, MD, Michelle and Scott Walls, Rustburg, and Cynthia and William Hill, Nellysford; two sisters, Rosanne Maxwell, Appomattox and Connie Wilson and her husband, Dave, Colonial Heights; three brothers, Gary Floyd, Douglas Floyd and his wife, Michelle, all of Maryland, James Floyd and his wife, Iris, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2012, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Orville Gregory.
