Annie Mae Garrett, 94, of Appomattox passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Runk and Pratt Nursing Home in Forest, Va. She was the wife of the late Henry Garrett.

Born in Appomattox on February 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Goin and Edna Mayberry Goin. She was a faithful member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her two children, John Garrett and wife, Dawn and Brenda Primm and husband, Earl all of Appomattox; four grandchildren, Renee Lewis of Spout Spring, Chris Primm of Appomattox, Jeremy Garrett of Richmond, and April Torrence of Nathalie, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Calvin Torrence, Peyton Dowden, and Waylon Dowden; son in-law, Luther Lewis, of Spout Spring; brother, Robert Goin; and sister, Betty Martin.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Lewis; four brothers, Willis Goin, Ernest Howard Goin, Otis Tom Goin, and Paul Goin; and one sister, Mamie Meadows.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Newton and Pastor Terry White officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home.
