Obituary

Annie Tweedy Coleman, 92, died, Tuesday September 18, 2012 at the Oaks of Lynchburg. She was the widow of Emmitt Lee Coleman.

Annie was born in Campbell Co., April 15, 1920, a daughter of the late Lizzie Evans and Artie Smith Tweedy. She was a lifetime member of New Chapel Baptist Church and retired employee of Paktron.

She is survived by her brother, Jimmy E. Tweedy and his wife, Barbara of Rustburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in death by sisters, Aurelia T. Carwile, Laura E. (Missie) Tweedy & Maggie Mae T. Johnson and a brother, Robert Smith Tweedy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from New Chapel Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Tim Dooley and the Rev. T.W. Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
