Obituary
Ann Marie Woods, 53, of Appomattox, died at her residence on Thursday, August 12, 2021.
She was born on September 23, 1967, in Lynchburg, Va., the daughter of the late Thomas Purvis Almond and Ellen Kress Almond.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Woods, and Jessica Almond both of Appomattox; one sister, Ella Mae Godsey; and six grandchildren, Damien, Gabby, Savannah, Hailey, Jason, and Samantha.
Ann was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Woods; brother, Thomas Page Kress; and her sister Betty Powell. Matthew Woods
