Ann Taylor Walton Reynolds, 80, of Bear Creek Road, Red House, passed Friday, June 22, 2018, at the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late Gordon Foster Reynolds.
Born on February 19, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Jasmine Barnes and Fred Walton. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a retired manager for Schewels Furniture.
She is survived by her three children, Margie R. Layne of Spout Spring, Phillip W. Reynolds and William F. Reynolds both of Red House; eight grandchildren, G. W. Reynolds, Brittany Layne, Brandon Layne, Brandon Cash, Chris Cooke, Tyler Reynolds, Cole Reynolds, and Cambrie Reynolds; and three great-grandchildren, Levi Reynolds, Ella Layne, and Luke Reynolds.
The family wishes to thank her daughter-in-law, Anne Waters Reynolds; friends, Bob and Shelly Kolich; and all other family members that helped Ann in her time of need.
A memorial service will be held 11 am, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Providence Baptist Church by Pastors Anthony Reeves and Jeff Worley with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will also receive friends from 4 until 7 pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the home of Emma Jean and Bill Martin, 8505 Red House Road and at other times at the home of Margie Layne, 1995 Snapps Mill Road.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the Appomattox County Rescue Squad, PO Box 57, Appomattox, VA 24522 or The American Cancer Society, c/o Sharon Mobley, PO Box 1084, Appomattox, VA 24522.
