Andrew Peyton Seay, Jr., was born March 2 ^nd , 1948, in Lynchburg, Va., the first child of Frances Goin and A. Peyton Seay. Andrew grew up in the Evergreen community of Appomattox County. A child of many special needs, the Evergreen community was a source of support and assistance to his family.

At the age of 16, Andrew entered the Lynchburg Training School and Hospital, now the soon to close Central Virginia Training Center. He remained there until August of 2019, when he relocated to the Hiram Davis Medical Center in Petersburg, Va., until his death on April, 24 ^th , 2020.

Our sincere gratitude to the many medical and staff workers at both CVTC and HDMC that provided the necessary care to meet his daily needs and provided a sustained quality of life for the past 56 years.

Andrew was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy and his parents.

Andrew is survived by his sister, Patsy and her husband, Frank Thomas of Appomattox and brother, Phillip Seay of Charlottesville, Virginia.
