Amy Michelle Wallen, 42, of Plant Drive, Appomattox, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at her residence.

Born in Hopewell, October 20, 1976, she was a daughter of Nancy Sowards and husband, Pat and Jerry Charvat and wife, Susan of Disputanta. Amy was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and worked for the Appomattox County Public School System.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Tyler Wallen and Zachary Wallen of Appomattox; three step-brothers, Mike Lockett, Joey Lockett, and Dale Lockett all of Hopewell.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Liberty Baptist Church by Rev. Rusty Small. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
