Allen William "Skip" Edwards, 64, of Dillwyn, died Saturday, February 22, 2020.

Born in Buckingham, October 21, 1955, he was a son of the late Gladys Louis Davidson and Linwood William Edwards. Allen worked for Kyanite Mining where he was a "Jack of all trades" and was very devoted and loved his job.

He is survived by six brothers, Roger "Hollywood" Edwards, Will Edwards, Dennis Edwards, Aubrey Edwards and wife, Shelly all of Dillwyn, Elvis Edwards and wife, Pam of Buckingham and Billy Edwards and wife, Emily of New Canton; four sisters, Thelma Seay and husband, Steve of Gladstone, Debra Smith and husband, Timmy of Charlottesville, Linda Brown and husband, Jeff of Troy and Betty Boswell and husband, Timmy of Dillwyn.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Linwood "Butch" Edwards, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined in May 2020, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Roger Woody.
