Allen Russell Martin, Jr., 61, of Spout Spring, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his home in Spout Spring.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, on July 26, 1963, he was the son of the late Evelyn Shumate Martin and Allen Russell "Pete" Martin, Sr.

Allen worked with his father, Pete, building homes when he was very young. He was a former employee of J. D. Martin Sawmill and Campbell Lumber Company.  Allen was very artistic and enjoyed painting, photography, fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycles.

He is survived by his son, John Tatum Martin of Gladstone; two sisters, Debbie Mull of North Carolina, her son and his wife, Tim Canady and Tracy, and Tammy Stewart and her husband Randy, of South Carolina and their children, Ryan Stewart and Mikala Cope; his loving aunt, June M. Taylor of Evergreen and uncle-in-law, Arvil Higgins; and numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Robinson Funeral Home, 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2025, officiated by the Rev. Wyatt Cudd.

The family will receive friends following the service.
