Allen Wayne Caldwell

Allen Wayne Caldwell, 73, of Rustburg, VA, departed his journey here on earth on Saturday, August 29, 2026. He was the husband of Teresa Snyder Caldwell.

Born on April 26, 1953, in Lynchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Clarence Hunter Caldwell and Evelyn Franklin Caldwell. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Allen was a hardworking, kindhearted, gentle man, full of warmth and wisdom. He lived his life by the belief that if he never gave up trying to solve a problem, he could never truly admit defeat. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. Allen enjoyed carpentry, classic cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, warm sunshine, yard work, John Deer tractors, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Ryan Caldwell and partner, Jenn of Rustburg, VA; sister, Jo Ann Williamson and husband, Gerald of Madison Heights, VA; niece, Karen Ferguson and husband, Alan and daughters, Bailey Taylor and husband, Reese, and Jordan Ferguson; nephew, Jerry Williamson and wife, Sasha and children, Maya and Jake Williamson; and father-in-law, Claude Sensabaugh of Lynchburg, VA.
