Alice Breedlove Moore, 75, of Richwood Estates Road, Appomattox, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 in Centra Health Hospice House. She was the loving wife of Russell Walker "Bunny" Moore for 51 years.

Born in Aspen, Charlotte County, Va. on August 17, 1939, Alice was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Innes Williams Breedlove. Alice was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Marshall Breedlove.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Alicia Gaye Thomas and her husband, Frank; a granddaughter, Christen Thomas all of Appomattox; four sisters-in-law, Jean C. Breedlove of Phenix, Helen Gaulden, Virginia Moore, and Bethel Moore; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Moore and wife, Pat and Lyle Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice was a faithful member of Memorial United Methodist Church, the Adult Bible Class, and the Cross and Flames Circle of the United Methodist Women. She worked for several years at a number of local retail stores but her main job and love was being a homemaker and helping her extended family whenever she could.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Cheatham and Rev. Richard Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
