Obituary
Alexandra Mary Daniel, 71, of Appomattox, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of William T. Daniel.
Born in Chicago, Ill., on December 15, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Esther Victoria Whamond and Ralph Louis Moni. She was a member of New Store Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, David Anthony Daniel and wife, Sarah of Rock Hill, S.C.; two grandchildren, Ari and Hannah Daniel; a sister, Victoria Anne Leahy of Newtown, Conn.; and a niece Christine Mary Toth and husband, Michael of Standish, Maine.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2014, in New Store Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Joseph McCutchen. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
