Aleck Joseph Lecco, 86, of Watt Abbitt Road, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his residence. He was the loving husband Frances Ann Brooder Lecco.

Born in Chattaroy, West Virginia, July 3, 1930 he was a son of the late Julia Mosolygo and Stephen Lekka. Aleck was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church where he served on the cemetery committee and as an usher. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Aleck retired from Williams-Sonoma as a Warehouse Director.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Dorothy Garcia and husband, Neftali, and Allen Lecco both of Appomattox, Stephen Lecco and wife, Jeri of Miami, FL, Eddie Lecco and wife Lori of Pleasanton, CA, Kenny Lecco of Memphis, TN, and Michael Lecco and wife, Kimberly of Tampa, FL; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father Jim Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
