AILEEN H. DRINKARD
Aileen Hill Drinkard, 95, formerly of Appomattox, died Monday afternoon, December 31, 2007, in the Brookshire Nursing Center, Hillsborough, NC. She was the wife of the late Edward Crote Drinkard.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Etca Hill. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane D. and Marshall Bailey of Chapel Hill, NC, and her son and daughter-in-law, Shafter Edward and Millie Drinkard of Hampton Cove, AL; one brother, Alvin Hill and his wife Eunice, Greenville, SC; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am, today (Wednesday), January 2, 2008, at the Drinkard Family Cemetery by the Rev. Ronnie Rogers.
