Aggie Ruth Hall, 72, of Phenix, died Saturday, June 2, 2018 at VCU Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jimmy Hall, Jr.

Born in Muscle Shoals, AL, July 24, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Edna Pace and William Disker Thorn.

She is survived by five children; Kimberly Shorter and husband, Timothy of Charlotte C.H., Sheila Brown and husband, Maurice, Jr. of Phenix, Cheryl Ortiz and husband, Eddi of Hamilton, AL, Kenneth Carlton, Sr., and wife, Valerie of Scottsburg and James Winders of Cincinnati, OH; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; seven brothers; and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn King.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with Minister Kathy Seay and Minister Aline Robinson officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
