God said, He would and He did. In John 14, Jesus promised us that He would go and prepare a place for us and He would come again and receive us unto Himself. On September 8, 2016, Agee Cornelius answered Jesus Call.
Agee Cornelius was born June 8, 1944, to the late Joe Agee and Ruby McCoy Ferguson. He accepted Christ at an early age and join Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He also visited Mt. Airy Baptist Church until his health failed him. He received his education in Appomattox Public School System.
Connie was a kind and generous man; he loved animals, enjoyed carpentry, was mechanically inclined, and once owned his own trucking company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Agee and Ruby and a brother, Obadiah Ferguson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two devoted brothers, John C. Ferguson and Sears A. (Mary Lee) Ferguson of Appomattox; a devoted sister, Jean Ware of Gladstone, Virginia Megginson of Madison Heights, Irona Beard (Bennie) of Solon, Ohio, Arlene Cooper of Warrensville Heights, Ohio, Maxine Thompson of Yonkers, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Reverend Sidney Dove. The burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
