Appomattox: Adeline Marie DeCresci Heater, 71, of 111 Nash Trailer Park and formerly of Washington, NJ, died Monday, August 14, 2006 in Guggenhiemer Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. (Bob) Heater.
Born in Newton, NJ, December 22, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Leonardo and Anna Palma DeCresci. Adeline was an avid Bingo player, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Spout Spring Ruritan. She was a retired cook for Falling River Country Club.
She is survived by two sons, Leon Mettler and his wife, Vanessa of Appomattox and Eugene Gorko and his wife, Tammy of Hurricane, WV; a daughter, Anna Morgan and her fiancée, Doug Witt of Evington; two brothers, Albert DeCresci and his wife, Betty of Belvedere, NJ and Marion DeCresci and his wife, Janet of Newton, NJ; five grandchildren, Stacy Fried Epling, Jessica Morgan, Travis Morgan, Adam Clifton and his wife, Amanda all of Appomattox and Chianna Gorko of Hurricane, WV and a great grandson, Dakota Morgan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alessio DeCresci.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Liberty Cemetery by Pastor Tommy O'Brien.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm and at other times at the residence.
