Obituary

Adam Lee Morris, 36, of Horseshoe Road, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Lynchburg, September 25, 1979, he was a son of Nelwyn Coleman and Arthur Lee Morris. Adam was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Appomattox County High School and was employed by QIS as a Pipeline Inspector. He loved the outdoors and spending time on the James River, he will be remembered as an avid fisherman and a great hunter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Sara M. Almond, and husband Donnie Lee; nieces and nephews, Dagan, Coleman, Sawyer and Walker Almond; grandfather, Abbitt Coleman; aunts and uncles, Keith Coleman and wife, Fay; Teresa Ward and husband, Elvin, Linda Byrd and husband, Kenny, Rita Smith and husband, Richard, Sue McCauley, Cindy Palmore and husband, Dennis, and Johnny Morris; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen Faye Coleman and Thelma and Skeeter Morris.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, at the home of Arthur and Nelwyn Morris.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
