Lucy P. Eanes

Lucy Pippin Eanes, 95, of Evergreen Ave., Appomattox, died Wednesday afternoon June 27, 2012 in the Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Abingdon, Va., December 10, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Henry H. and Susan Coalson Pippin. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Carl, Leonard, Charles and Millard Pippin and two sisters, Violet P. Franklin and Samantha Clifton.

Lucy was a kind, gentle soul who loved to sew and work puzzles.

Rev. Eugene Beverly will be conducting graveside funeral service at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Liberty Cemetery.
